Perhaps our "Very Open" neon sign drew you to our open front door. We invite you and your loved ones to experience the healing process that begins in our waiting room. An eclectic mix of music, often from a live performance, caresses your ears while your eyes are astounded by our art collection and other mysterious nuances. You may choose to sip on our selection of complementary organic juices, help yourself to fresh fruit, and flip through a book as you lounge on one of our comfy couches. You might notice the smell of an orchid array, tickling your nose. Yes, you are simply in The Farmacy's waiting room; entering the dispensary is the next level of our organic healing process, a privilege given to our registered patients.
The Medical Marijuana Farmacy is a compassionate collective for patients possessing a doctor's recommendation for medical cannabis. All patients must bring their original doctor's recommendation for us to verify along with a current California State ID or California State driver's license. There is no fee to become a member of our patient registry, nor are you solely bounded to our dispensary for your organic needs.
In the collective, you may consult our in-house herbalist for suggestions on organic, herbal (non-cannabis) remedies to be used separately or in conjunction with medical cannabis. We also offer our patients a complementary adjustment from our chiropractor in addition to a ten minute massage from our massage therapist. It is not uncommon for management to initiate a one-shot basket game where the reward is a one-way ticket to Hawaii. Why a one-way ticket, you ponder? That feeling of hope and wonder about unknown territory is part of the mysterious nuances of our compassionate caregiving.

The Farmacy's founder, Chauncey Gardener, professes that "our bodies are complex factories manufacturing chemical responses to enhance overall wellbeing. Just possibility of hope is enough to make us feel well!"
As a patient, it is your responsibility to keep yourself educated regarding medical cannabis laws in your city and county. Please see our important links section on our homepage to help guide your educational journey. Know your rights so that you may exercise them effectively and lawfully! When you visit us, do not leave anyone waiting in your car. After all, we have created our uncompromised waiting room for them to enjoy. Everyone that enters our doors must turn off their mobile phones and any other data sharing device. Cameras are also prohibited. Patients entering the dispensary must leave their bags, jackets, and bulky belongings with security. All patients must sign in and check in with reception. Our friendly receptionists will first verify your membership and then give you a stamp along with a numbered ticket. When your number is called, security will check your ticket and stamp. A member of our staff will escort you to the dispensary and hand you the menu of the day. After you have given our menu a glance, a caregiver will beckon your presence to the counter and ask for your numbered ticket. After making your selection, you must leave your menu at the front counter with your care giver.
Remember, you may not medicate within the vicinity of The Farmacy or any other collective. You may not medicate in your car, within a 100 yards of a school zone, or any other designated non-smoking zone. You must keep a copy of your doctor's recommendation on you at all times. Please note that the above statements do not serve as a substitute for your responsibility to educate yourself on the law. You have the duty and power to practice responsible use of medical cannabis. Your responsible use will elevate your overall sense of well-being and support The Compassionate Use Act of 1996.
In conformance with the West Hollywood Municipal Code Section 7.32.020, The Farmacy has adopted the following standards to mitigate any adverse secondary effects on residents and business in its community.
-Provide adequate security and safety at all times.
-Provide a neighborhood security patrol for a two block radius.
-Patients are notified to not consume medical cannabis onsite or in vehicles.
-Patients must immediately leave site and not loiter around premises.
-Secondary sale, barter, or redistribution of medical cannabis is a crime and can lead to arrest.
-Dispensary staff will monitor the site and vicinity to ensure compliance.
